Long Beach Hyatt Indian Wedding Photographer
I don't usually like photographing portraits in straight sun, but this late-day sun was the perfect light for this wedding portrait of Cinal Bhindi. The wedding itself took place at the Long Beach Hyatt, but the reception took place the following day, which meant that we had lots of time for portraits after all the guests had left. I could not wait to bring my gorgeous couple over to the Long Beach Aquarium, which is right next door to the Hyatt, and which features some beautiful blue walls on its exterior. The combination of Cinal's red lengha against the deep turquoise blue of the aquarium's walls created a psychological interplay that is one in a million. Photographers either avoid shadows or use them to their advantage, as was the case there. I love that the shadow of the sun is visible behind the bride and her bouquet.
