The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was lit in red as part of the Red Alert Restart event, which was designed to show support for the 12 million event professionals who lost 100% of their income when the events industry shut down in February 2020. The events industry was the first to shut down and will be the last to reopen, leaving millions of people unable to work. The events industry pours $1 trillion into the US economy each year. The Los Angeles Coliseum looked stunning bathed in red light, and I was honored to be chosen to photograph it.
