Photographing pre-wedding and engagement sessions in downtown Los Angeles is a true joy of mine as I love working with color and urban backgrounds. There is a lot of traffic in the downtown Los Angeles Arts District area on weekdays, so weekends are usually better options for shoots in this area. To give this painted wall more depth, I used off-camera lighting, as it added dimension and drama. There is so much color in the area that you can't help but get inspired. The Los Angeles Arts District is located near Urth Caffe, which is a great place to get a coffee or lunch. The Fourth Street Bridge and Barker Block loft complex are also nearby.
