Indian Wedding Photographer Dana Point Ritz Carlton

I love when I can capture beautiful expressions from both bride and groom, as was the case for this portrait, which I photographed at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. Indian wedding timelines often provide very little time for portraits, so I usually have to fight for every precious minute of portrait time. For this wedding, the post-wedding-ceremony late-afternoon light was just perfect, and added just a hint of amber glow to this bride and groom's expressions. The greenery in the back also provides a beautiful color complement to the reds and oranges worn by the bride and groom. Since I photographed this portrait right after the couple's vidai, there seems to be a hint of wistfulness on the bride's face. Whatever she may have been thinking, her expression and his expression perfectly suited one another. Shortly after I shot this portrait, the bride and groom rushed off to change into their reception outfits, and to enjoy their fall-themed reception. Square Root provided the florals, while Nikki Khan at Exquisite Events handled coordination. This couple's mandap was published in the book "The Art of Celebration -- Los Angeles."
