Who photographs my wedding? How long are you there?
I personally shoot all weddings. For multi-day events involving more than one Saturday, an associate photographer may shoot some of the smaller events. Coverage times depend on the package you purchase, but I usually begin when the bride starts getting ready, and finish near the end of the reception. A second photographer is included in many of my packages.
How would you describe your photography style?
My background as a newspaper and magazine photojournalist gives me a keen eye for subject-unaware, or candid, photography. But most couples want portraits and group shots as well. I seek to offer the best of both worlds, and to provide a well-rounded collection of images from your wedding day.
How far in advance are you booked?
I have photographed weddings on as little as two weeks' notice and as much as two years' notice. Dates do book up, so if you are getting married during high season (April-October), it’s best to reserve your date well in advance.
