The best trade show photographers know that it takes more than just an observational approach to properly document all aspects of a conference, as photos of booths, company teams, and interaction between exhibitors and attendees all conspire to tell the full story of the trade show. My team and I routinely stage the types of photos that trade show exhibitors will want to display on their social media accounts, and use for internal and external marketing. We take care to stage images that clearly show the exhibitor's logo and booth team, spending time to ensure that the lighting on facts is nice and bright while ensuring that backlit booth elements are still captured with full detail. We then spend time in post-production on highlight and shadow detail, color and contrast to ensure that the end result is a beautiful, professional photo that can be used to great success.
