The E: Jayati & Harjot

Tuesday, July 15, 2008

Jayati and Harjot will have two wedding ceremonies -- one in Fresno and one in beautiful Udaipur, India. I was already booked for both their dates -- so sad -- but I loved getting together with them for an engagement session at UCLA. Check out the new graduates who were wandering the campus and got roped into one of my shots. And check out the new graduate footwear. What's up with that?

Kavita and Vikas will be married in August at the St. Regis. They've both recently relocated to Texas, and I hope they'll enjoy the great community in Houston.

The E: Gwen & Mark

Gwen and Mark are the physical fitness gurus of all time. Gwen is always sending me notes about yoga, and Mark . . . well, that guy doesn't have an ounce of fat on him. Together, they have a smile wattage of, like, 6 billion watts. I'm so excited for their wedding.

Theresa and Robert were so much fun to work with, and Theresa was a totally good sport when I kept making her take her shoes off. This gorgeous couple will be married in Dana Point in just two weeks.

The E: Shelpa & Rajeev

Saturday, May 03, 2008

I was already booked for Shelpa and Rajeev's wedding day, so they asked me to do an engagement session for them, which I do for a lot of clients. They are an adorable couple and Rajeev is clearly besotted with the adorable Shelpa. I know they'll have a great wedding.

The E: Sumita & Neil

Sumita and Neil were so much fun to shoot. I always love getting to know people better during our engagement shoots, particularly when we get to geek out about some sort of random topic. Neil also kept fixing Sumita's hair throughout the shoot, which was just too adorable. This wonderful couple will be married at the end of the month.

The E: Emily & Seth

Saturday, March 29, 2008

Emily and Seth will be married in October. I really enjoyed getting to know them both better during our shoot at UCLA (Seth's alma mater). After I showed him the fourth image below on the back of my camera, Seth promptly named it "sweet eyes." Fun fact: When checking to ensure that "mater" had only one "t," I found out that "alma mater" means "nourishing mother" in Latin (though it now refers to the unversity that someone attends). For those of you who aren't already aware, I'm a total spelling and words geek. Sad, but true.

The E: Tina & Neel

Tina and Neel are getting married next weekend. Rain resulted in two reschedules, so we did our engagement session a bit closer to their date than usual. Can't wait until this fun couple's wedding.

The E: Yasna & Ketan

Thursday, January 24, 2008

Yasna and Ketan will be married in July, with the wonderful Yogi Patel at Sheer Romance serving as coordinator and all-around decor guru. I have to publicly make fun of Yasna -- which I cleared with her first -- because she has never been to India. Ketan! Get this girl to India!

Dimple and Sagar will be married in July, with the talented Smita Mohindra coordinating. Poor Sagar. He was sick with the flu but he trudged through our engagement session without complaint. Go Trojans!

The E: Sapna & Shashin

Saturday, December 15, 2007

Sapna and Shashin will be married in February. Since I'll be out of the country for most of the month, they hired me to do an engagement session for them, and we had a great time. This is yet another couple living in two different states. I'll be happy when they get married and can finally live in the same city.

Sabrina and Alex live in London, but we met up for a mini-engagement session while they were stateside for a holiday. I'm thrilled to be shooting this gorgeous couple's wedding in Serbia this coming May.

The E: Simran & Shahrooz

Simran and Shahrooz were were troopers through unexpected dark fog and cold, and I swear that their smiles melted away the gloom. This adorable couple will be married on next year's hot date: 06/07/08. Small world surprise: Talented wedding coordinator Sonia Sharma bumped into us while we were out shooting. The fun part? Sonia is this couple's wedding coordinator. How random is that?

And a small-world shot with coordinator Sonia Sharma:

The E: Jahnvee & Arka

Jahnvee and Arka will be getting married at the La Jolla Women's Club in San Diego on New Year's Eve weekend. Bonus fun: Jahnvee is a talented photographer! Shortly after the wedding, this artistic couple will be be moving to New York. I hope to be able to introduce them to some of my many wonderful NY-based clients (Allison & Matt, Harshna & Mihir, Amy & Paul, Mili & Sharath, Tara & Raj, Madhavi & Vamsi, and all the other wonderful people I'm probably forgetting right now).

The E: Geeta & Rahul

Geeta and Rahul will be married at the Huntington Beach Hyatt later this month. This couple has been great to work with, and I can't wait to see Geeta in her wedding outfit.

And a surprise from my talented colleague and friend Victor Sizemore, who jumped into the frame while I was shooting. Seems like all the cool kids shoot in the same places. It was great seeing you Victor!

The E: Shabana & Hussein

Shabana and Hussein will be married at the LAX Hilton on Thanksgiving weekend. I can't wait for their wedding, because once they're married, they will no longer live in two different states. I'm always sad when my couples live a huge distance apart. Especially when the groom loves his bride as much as Hussein loves Shabana.

The E: Achala & Arul

Achala and Arul will be married at the new Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village this coming December. This is such a sweet couple, and I can't wait to see the decor that Seema Syed at Event Diva will be creating for this wedding.

The E: Tara & Raj

Sunday, September 30, 2007

Tara and Raj will be getting married at the beautiful Jag Mandir Island Palace in Udaipur, India, in February 2008. After months and months of emails and phone calls, it was great to finally meet both of them for an engagement shoot in Manhattan's TriBeCa area, with dinner afterwards. I love So Cal, but it's always so much fun to shoot in new cities. This couple had the smoldering thing down, and I'm really looking forward to shooting their wedding in a few months.

Michele and Sean will be married at a winery in September, but they got a jump-start on their engagement session by getting it done this past week. Sean is absolutely hysterical and Michele is both smart as a whip and possessed of the world's most glorious smile.

The E: Bhakti & Ronil

Friday, May 18, 2007

Bhakti and Ronil were game for anything during our extended engagement session. Bhakti's beautiful lengha (and stunning face -- or maybe it was Ronil's swank shoes) seemed to be of great interest to a row of cab drivers, so we decided to work one into the shoot. Bhakti and Ronil will be married in August.
