Allyson and Mike jetted out from Chicago for an intimate wedding at Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, with a dinner reception at the Montage Laguna Beach. Small weddings are always filled with so much charm and love, since the guests are usually close relatives and very best friends. And this wedding was no exception. Both families were really nice, and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful.

Sonya & Eric

Sonya and Eric were married at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills, with a reception at The Luxe Hotel. All of my brides are beautiful, but Sonya's beauty features a unique centerpiece that I've never seen before: one blue eye and one brown eye. No contacts or Photoshop involved.


This stylish couple met when Eric interviewed Sonya for a job. Alas -- though she was highly qualified, he didn't have a place for her at the time. A year later, they bumped into each other while out walking, and the rest is history. Both the ceremony and reception were emotional affairs, with tears from bride, groom and both families flowing throughout. Sonya was also particularly touched that several of her relatives from Portugal made the long trip to California for the wedding. With second shooting by Yoshi Morimoto.
