Michele and Sean will be married at a winery in September, but they got a jump-start on their engagement session by getting it done this past week. Sean is absolutely hysterical and Michele is both smart as a whip and possessed of the world's most glorious smile.

The E: Pinaki & Eric

Engagement sessions are always a great opportunity to get to know my busy clients, and my session with Pinaki and Eric was no exception. This lovely couple will have both Sikh and Hindu ceremonies at their July wedding.

Kristen & Adam

Kristen and Adam were married at the South Coast Winery in Temecula. I first met Kristen when she was a bridesmaid at my clients Tamara & Lesley's wedding in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. She and Adam are the cutest couple ever, and they both have gorgeous smiles and super-fun personalities. Their reception also boasted the best handmade chocolate truffles I have ever tasted in my life. Video provided by the team at Elysium Productions. Leslie & Frank

Leslie and Frank were married at the Coyote Hills Golf Club. My clients Carol and Neil sent them my way, and I was surprised to find that Frank had almost the exact same set of groomsmen as Neil did for his wedding. Leslie's infectious smile and laughing eyes were a true highlight of the day, and the clouds cooperated just long enough to provide beautiful sunshine for the ceremony.

The E: Bhakti & Ronil

Bhakti and Ronil were game for anything during our extended engagement session. Bhakti's beautiful lengha (and stunning face -- or maybe it was Ronil's swank shoes) seemed to be of great interest to a row of cab drivers, so we decided to work one into the shoot. Bhakti and Ronil will be married in August.

Christy & Jason

Christy and Jason were married at a private home in Canyon Lake, a picturesque gated community 90 miles southeast of Los Angeles. Their intimate sunset ceremony was attended by friends, family and at least five dogs.

Beautiful Weddings UK

I was flattered when the UK's Beautiful Weddings Magazine contacted me to ask whether I'd be interested in contributing. In recent months, Beautiful Weddings has published eight-page spreads from several of my weddings: Alice & Scott (Mountain Gate Country Club), Anna & Christof (Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood, Oregon), and Nita & Chirag (Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines). Fun fact: Some of the exteriors in the movie The Shining were shot at Timberline Lodge.
