Cathy and Anoop had a Sikh ceremony at Castaways and an evening reception at the downtown Marriott. Anoop rode an gorgeous elephant named Tai for his Baraat (entrance of the groom), and I could be wrong, but she seemed to remember me from a wedding I did back in July. Elephants can be rented from Have Trunk Will Travel. You can read about the elephant's personalities and their favorite foods -- as well as Have Trunk Will Travel's conservation efforts -- on their web site. During my recent visit to India, I had the chance to ride an elephant and feed bananas to at least 10 of them. They are truly the most beautiful, amazing animals.

Marisol & Bernardo

Marisol & Bernardo got married on December 30th, but since they had an evening wedding at St. Vincent de Paul with a late reception at the Biltmore, we decided to do a post-wedding B&G session this past Thursday.

Jules & Me

The lovely Jules Bianchi is an amazingly talented photographer and good friend. I'm super lucky that she and her dog Olive are also my neighbors. Here's a photo of us on St. Patrick's Day, which may be the only Saturday we've ever had off at the same time.

Arati & Nirav

Danielle and Ameet had a gorgeous wedding coordinated by Sheryal Rozzelle at Unique Elegance (www.uniqueelegance.net), with video artistry provided by Ashley Video (www.ashleyvideo.com). The day started with a Catholic Ceremony at St. Lawrence Martyr in Redondo Beach, then moved to the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City for a Hindu ceremony and reception.

Brenna & Bill

Brenna & Bill got married at La Venta Inn. Bill stands more than a foot taller than Brenna, so we had a lot of fun with the portraits and dancing shots. Bill's reaction to seeing his bride for the first time is just priceless.

Tomomi & Hari

Tomomi and Hari had an intimate garden wedding at the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon. This was one of those rare occasions when the bride and groom got ready in the same room, so it provided for a few photo opportunities that I don't usually encounter.
